Frequently asked questions

What type of materials do you use to make your textiles?
We use natural plant and animal fibers like wool, alpaca, silk, cotton, and linen.

How do I care for my textiles?
Cotton and linen can be machine-washed in cold water and tumble-dried on low or hang-dried to extend the life of your fabric. Wool, silk, and alpaca require more care; hand washing and drying are recommended for these fibers.

What is the process for creating a custom fabric?
Our custom projects are collaborations between the designer and the client. You can schedule a free 30-minute consultation to discuss your project's specifics.

I love a pattern you created, but I want it in a palette that better suits my space. Do you do custom color projects?
Yes, if you see a pattern or texture on the website that you would like adapted into a different color palette, we can accommodate you. Please use the inquiry form above and include your interest in customizing an existing pattern.

How long does a custom fabric take to produce?
Creating a handwoven textile is a meticulous process that takes time. From the initial intake to the final delivery, the entire process can span anywhere from 12 to 24 weeks. This timeline is subject to the procurement of materials, production time, and shipping time. We believe in transparency and will keep you informed if there are any changes, ensuring you are always aware of the progress.
